So, About Josh's HR Last Night ...

Audio and video after the jump.

Hit Tracker Online confirms that this shot traveled 448 feet, or basically right on par with the Rangers' 449-foot estimate. Remarkably, it wasn't even the longest home run of the night -- Justin Upton beat him out by one foot, and four players total clubbed shots of 440 feet or longer last night -- or one of the 25 longest home runs hit in baseball this year. The fact that it was clubbed to almost straightaway right field makes the distance appear monstrous when, in fact, Hamilton has clubbed much longer shots to right-center field that didn't carry as high into the upper deck as that particular shot.
