Yorvit Torrealba Did A No-No

So, uh, things weren't all peaches and cream during today's Caribes/Caracas game in the Venezuelan Winter League, as Yorvit Torrealba was ejected in the eighth inning for the sort of thing that would probably get him blackballed by the American sports press (skip to 0:58 for the actual incident, which is preceded by a furious Torrealba barking at the home plate umpire for what he apparently believed to be poor ball/strike calls):

(h/t Brett Perryman)

It's unclear what, if any, repercussions will stem from this incident, or whether Torrealba will find his VWL roster spot jeopardized ... Latin American baseball tends to be rowdier than domestic pro ball (though I think that has more to do with the nature of the crowds), but I can't imagine that the VWL suits would assume a laissez faire attitude in response to one of their officials being struck in a fit of anger.

I also can't imagine that the Rangers are very happy about this.
