NEWSFLASH: Eyre Activated; Boggs Optioned; Duran Released
According to multiple local media sources, right-hander Willie Eyre has been activated from the 60-day disabled list, outfielder Brandon Boggs has been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City and minor league infielder German Duran has been placed on waivers for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release.

Too bad, Duran's a nice little player, I liked him in the role of a super utility guy down the line.
I'm a Mendoza supporter as well, but he may have been the cut for me this time.
Oh well, such are the travails in a loaded system.
