What to do when your team starts out 0-3?
- You get angry. (Yup, done that)
- You lose all interest in watching or listening to baseball. (Getting there)
- You don't want to go to the home opener. (That would take a lot)
In all honesty, like most of you I figured this team would come out a hell of a lot better then they have these first three games. But they've been flat. They've been lazy in the field. They've gotten walks but have otherwise been lackadaisical at the plate.
You have to believe lots of things will change between now and September 30th, 2007. The offense will wake up, the pitching will perform better than it has thus far, and maybe a few more added bonuses between now and then.
But for right now, frankly I'm disgusted.

I'm very, very disappointed right now. The Rangers have just looked sloppy. Things will get better, but right now the starting pitching and offense just suck. And a good bullpen doesn't help if you can't get a lead for them to hold.
First, the starting pitching HAS TO settle down. The Angels scored in the 1st inning of every game! The bullpen did fine these three games but again it is much easier to pitch in relief when the other team has a confortable lead, there is no pressure on you to "blow the game" because essentially the game is already over at that point.
Boston is going to come into town with at least the same offensive power if not more than the Angels, and unless the Rangers can hit, run, and get on base we may be looking at 0-6.
