What to do when your team starts out 0-3?

- You get angry. (Yup, done that)

- You lose all interest in watching or listening to baseball. (Getting there)

- You don't want to go to the home opener. (That would take a lot)

In all honesty, like most of you I figured this team would come out a hell of a lot better then they have these first three games. But they've been flat. They've been lazy in the field. They've gotten walks but have otherwise been lackadaisical at the plate.

You have to believe lots of things will change between now and September 30th, 2007. The offense will wake up, the pitching will perform better than it has thus far, and maybe a few more added bonuses between now and then.

But for right now, frankly I'm disgusted.

Honestly, Texas could have not have begun their season any worse. Now with Boston coming to town, Texas is looking at a situation where they HAVE to win at least 2 of 3 or they're in big trouble.

I'm very, very disappointed right now. The Rangers have just looked sloppy. Things will get better, but right now the starting pitching and offense just suck. And a good bullpen doesn't help if you can't get a lead for them to hold.

Joey, your absolutely right, the Rangers are starring at a problem they have not had in a long time---scoring runs. These last 3 losses are not seasons enders and I don't believe anyone in Ranger country who follows baseball with an once of sense thinks that. However, the way the Angels dominated us leads me to believe there are some serious problems that must be overcome.

First, the starting pitching HAS TO settle down. The Angels scored in the 1st inning of every game! The bullpen did fine these three games but again it is much easier to pitch in relief when the other team has a confortable lead, there is no pressure on you to "blow the game" because essentially the game is already over at that point.

Boston is going to come into town with at least the same offensive power if not more than the Angels, and unless the Rangers can hit, run, and get on base we may be looking at 0-6.

0-6 is very possible now that the Strangers were swept by the Angels of Anaheim in LA or whatever they are called. I have maintained from before they left Arizona (Surprise) that this team is not as talented as the past teams and the pitching is certainly not as talented. Mr Washington got hosed by cheap assed management in his rookie season as a manager.

I'm not giving up yet. It's road game (And when was the last time Texas started the season at home?) Lets hope that the Rangers do well against the BoSox and maybe get some momentum on national televised game Sunday.
