What is your opinion of the A.J. Pierzynski signing?
MJH on accountability
This team wasn't going anywhere. Here's hoping we have a great offseason.
In the end this Rangers team was about as good as this site.
The Rangers for an untypical Ranger team on offense did a great job. I had him for 87 wins and they pulled off 91. Great season for a team lacking offense and thus going nowhere in the playoffs. But I do nearly pity the RedSox who have to play the winning Wild Card team who will still be on an amazing role. Though they did not play the top core teams, the Indians, Rays and Rangers for their last 10 games of the season went an incredible 26 and 4. That is an unbelievable .884 ball. Even the Dodgers at their hottest could not match that winning number. Tomorrow it is Cobb against Salazar. Cobb had a very solid season but is not a Price or Moore, and on the other side the Rays will be facing another nervous rookie starter, but one with a better fastball [ throws at 96 and can hit an occasional 100] and a solid change up [though not as good as MP]. JD for some one who never offered a meaningful opinion about anything related to baseball you sure offer a plethora of opinions about the few posters still left on this sad forum. So BV's astute comparison id dead on, and that is the bottom line about this forum. So lets call it a dead dog in the road, and we all know who ran over that unfortunate mutt. And let us all just drive on, knowing their is nothing we can do to revive that canine as long as JD is still plowing down that highway.
I imagine what is to be called a baseball town in Texas.
