look at the 40 man roster. 1. Cotts-7th inning guy doing a great job2. Darvish-solid #3. Frasor.-Better than most thought4. Garza-pitches tonite-would probably be a good sign then move perez5. Holland-solid #3 -6. Nathan-ttakes flak but does his job.7. Ogando-best suited for pen8. Perez-should have been traded 2 yrs ago when his value was highest9. Ross.-valuable contributor10 Scheppers-might wanna take a self defense course.-nice piece11. ISumming up:A an outfield that is in flux and needs HELPB an infield that is OK defensively and so-so on offense-vastly overpaidC Catching is MAJOR hole that MUST be addressedD starting pitching has been decimated by injuries but has done better than record indicates.E relief pitching has been STELLAR and the strong point of the team without a doubt.
Tongue in cheek I submit we bring back Oswalt, put Kins at catcher, trade Nathan to LAD for Kemp[good one Lee],put beltre's gimpy legs in a hyperbolic chamber. bring pudge back until Alfaro is ready, hire a baserunning coach, let Kins bat with a nine iron. This team sadly is NOT a WS team and it saddens me. I have confidence this offseason these needs will be addressed. I just hopwe we don't trade all of our precious PROSPECTS. However it might be nice for a change to watch the fade away in someone elses system.
JD, what is all this negativity over Oswalt. The dude was a career 163-101 3.33 era. That spells at his best an ACE and one of the top 5 starters in the NL. When he pitched for the Rangers last season, all he proved was that he was not a Roger Clemens and could not wait until late May to start Spring Training, and then repeated that mistake this season. Go ask an Astro fan, which I am not, who followed that team from 2001 to 2008 what they thought of him.
JD, you are terrible at player evaluations. You think we should resign Garza and get rid of Perez? Are you a moron? That right there would get you at least a D. Darivish is a legit ace no matter what his record says, Soria has been mediocre at best in my opinion (Cotts and Scheppers are better closer material in my opinion), Beltre has been a great sign (3 years with Rangers he's average about .310 with 32 HR's and 100+ RBI's and mostly GG defense, best all around 3B in MLB in my opinion), Martin little or no pop? He's hit 8 HR's this year which isn't great but he's no Elvis in the power department.
that is the worst player evaluation of the Rangers that I have ever seen. From what I've been reading on here, you sound even more moronic that i thought.
that's because your a god damn idiot.
JD--it's very unstable when you start talking to yourself. You are very odd.
teri; go vaccuum something
