MJH on accountability
The Texas Rangers organization, just weighing won/lost results as of 10 July is an astounding 302 wins- 217 losses. That is .582 ball for all 8 teams combined. Four [including the Rangers, themselves] have already gone over the 50 win barrier. The worse record is in Spokane at 14-11. Even viewing that minor league players ultimate value is their success at the highest level, and not seeing overwhelming talent throughout the 7 minor league teams, it does demonstrate a positive attitude, and confidence counts a lot in baseball or any thing else. Posing question, then is the Rangers the #1 organization in the MLB? And does any other organization have a better won / loss record for their whole organization? In final statistical analysis, WINS is and always #1.
How about winning something 1st?
cowboys butts drives me nuts ;)
Right now I'd say the Cardinals are the best org in baseball. Recent WS champs, first in their division, constant contenders, nice mix of vets and young guns, and their farm is incredibly deep.
1) Cards[pretty wide gap here]2) A's3) Giants3) Rangers(I can't decide between the Rangers and Giants because championships have to count for something)
Again--WIN SOMETHING then flap your gums.
Tampa Bay--pitching rules
Rangers 12-15. In that range. Profar and Olt sucking is gonna kill us.
UPDATE: DSL Rangers win 10 -1, are now 27 and 8. That is .771 ball for exactly half way through the season.
