What is your opinion of the A.J. Pierzynski signing?
MJH on accountability
Robbifist just proposed the ABSOLUTE WORST batting order ever.
I like the chances with a 10-man lineup, especially if that means getting a 4th out each inning.
Why don't we throw Barry bonds at 11 while we're at it?
Just when you thought Robby couldn't possibly come up with anything stupider than his previous posts, we get THIS.
Now I understand how Robby struck out 17 batters in a game. He would have had more but the #10 hitter's job was strictly to bunt.
Kinsler leading offAndrus -2Cruz-3rd
Profar is not in the line up.
Looks like Wash made the lineup sheet tonight .
There has been so much flux and creativity in the batting order this year that i thought maybe Jon Daniels was making them out. This looks more like the same ole Wash lineup.
Cruz in the 3rd spot? You know you're getting desperate when you're resorting to putting a 1-dimensional whiff-prone hacker in that spot.
Andrus needs to get it going. Great teammate, but think everyone thought he had a higher ceiling offensively than what he's showing.
out # 2 coming up
Two minor league players not on the current roster would still be an upgrade over the 2013 versions of David Murphy and Craig Gentry if for no better reason that both are solid contact hitters that over the last few seasons numbers are developing. At Round Rock there is Yangervis Solarte, who could make a solid utility player and at Frisco Teodore Martinez a solid defensive centerfielder with speed [a right handed version of E. Beltre], who could become a solid bat at MLB level. Only 21, his numbers have progressed as he has risen to AA level. This is not any earth shaking moves like a trade for Stanton or Taveras, but it is cost effective [ and that does determines moves, just go ask Billy Beane] would allow the Rangers to move a plethora of players in late July, especially if they continue to play at a predictable level. Cruz, Murphy , Berkman , Pierzynski, even Gentry have some trade value, and the Rangers pitchers have even greater value to a contending team, with some with high post season success. So many teams are believing they have a strong chance to make the playoffs that to be a seller could have high success. With that in mind, time to make it Three Venezuelans by making Martin Perez one of the five starters. But do not fret, JD and the Rangers will not go that direction. They will do the same as all the others, primarily because of fans interest and turnstile count, and over pay for that one player to play meaningful baseball in October. So consider those three in September.

That lineup put up 9 runs and was the most productive lineup in June thus far... What's the problem?
Nothing when it works.
I would rather see Kinsler in the 3 hole than Cruz.Cruz is best hitting 6thAnd Andrus could bat 8th while he's struggling
Everybody knows what to do the next morning.......
Good seeing Mitch Moreland smiling in the dug out... He's ready--like him 5-6 or 7
If they can square "em up it don't matter.......
It's nice seeing Wash try different players at the 3.
cmon, wipe the EFFING smug attitude off this mEffer. He thinks he is the idiotic prince in Shrek. stupid effing flowing hair.
Berkman needs to be 86'd from this team. Time to DFA him.
I need this anti-Berkman sentiment to be substantiated with some actual data. This is getting old. If you are going to argue against him, at least provide some (semi) accurate data.
Eric: Smell the coffee.

LOL.... Have you been watching the games. Been playing much better since Berkman is not playing much in the lineup. It's time to DFA Berkman. When Baker comes back he should be toast...
I see words. i don't see proof.
Eric, I see someone not playing much anymore and as result the club has played better baseball. I watch the games and see what's going on in the game and this team looks better with the old man out of the lineup. I agree with Champ on this one. Berkman gets DFA'd when Baker returns from the DL.
Rollie Fingerbangers...... LOL...... I love that name... Eric is blind with his Berkman love.
Is "FingerBanger" some kind of GAY CODE??
I watch the games and see what's going on in the game and this team looks better with the old man out of the lineup.
Which team employs you to have such excellent eyes?
Eric, I see someone not playing much anymore and as result the club has played better baseball.
Also, the games are in an NL park right now, so it makes sense that Lance Berkman isn't in the lineup. With Mitch Moreland back he doesn't have a position to play.
Berkman gets DFA'd when Baker returns from the DL.
Nogga ... not gonna happen.
If you haven't noticed, @ericreining is an arrogant know-it-all, who refuses to try and comprehend an opinion that can't be backed up with a stat, that is not an opinion he shares, or that does not fit his agenda. Never mind that some opinions are simply based on observations, and stats aren't part of the equation. Your opinion was one of those, as are others in these forums that he constantly degrades with pompous remarks. Some opinions are wrong because they are based on facts which are inaccurate. However, most opinions on this site are simply observations made by baseball fans, and therefore are not wrong. Some may be misguided, but they aren't wrong. It's sad that he seems to feel he must correct everyone and make them see things his way, rather than just engaging in a decent baseball discussion.
