You've "worked" 90 hours each of the last 2 weeks and yet you have time to go to this site and post. That took at least 3-5 minutes of your precious time minimum and that's all I'm asking from Joey. .

Chancea are Crow that if you took time to post, you'll also take another 5 minutes to see if anyone has responded to what you wrote. Better not spend a longer than necessary here, because nothing's new and you've got another 13 hour day tomorrow.

Man, its like a microcosm for what this country has turned into on here. All you guys in here bitching and complaning about a FREE thing not being up to your bloated standard. I hate it to that people who are actual productive members of society have to work for that and use some actual brain power and skill. They should just change their life and goals to suit your every need and do it right now. Only problem with that is then those productive members would just be sad lazy sacks like the rest of you who cant even muster enough worth to provide actual conversation to a baseball blog site. But kudos to yall for drawing me offsides with something as completely useless and bunch of middle school girls trying to tell other people what to do with their time. I have also been drawn offsides by this, and was going to abstain but here are my thoughts. Joey doesn't owe any of us a thing, and the smart move if you're truly "over it", or "done with this site" is to stop coming, and honestly, THAT WOULD BE ABSOLUTELY FINE AND UNDERSTANDABLE. By that same token, however, It's also absolutely fine for Joey to post 3-4 times a day (as he's done more times in the past than perhaps you're remembering) or not at all for over a month. Again, he doesn't owe it to anyone and can quit at any time with or without cause.

If you want to look at it in baseball terms, Joey is kind of like the player who gives you 5+ war per season on an under-market-value deal - even if he has a prolonged slump that it looks like he'll never come out of, on the whole, haven't you gotten your money's worth out of it? Under-market in this case actually means "free", so really, if you're getting anything of value you're way ahead. If you're getting 3-4 years of the best baseball blog I have ever found in my life, aren't you really WAY WAY WAY ahead? Even if we never hear from him again aren't you still way ahead?

Believe me, guys, I want more of Joey's stellar work too, and BECAUSE it's so great I notice its absence even more, but if it's not here now it's just not here. Complaining about it won't change a thing. If the tweet he sent earlier is any indication, he'll be back in some capacity soon, but if not, oh well.

Christ, Joey writes several paragraph articles when he comes on this site, not a 2-3 second comment.

Those articles take time to think out and write out. Not to mention he just started his professional career and is probably being baptized by fire considering his career choice and the time of year he was hired.

Joey ran this website and published very regular articles on it for years.

As far as I am concerned, he gets a free pass for this absence.
