One reason I always enjoyed watching Kenny Rodgers pitch was his ability to hold runners and his ability to field his position. Many times I saw runners returning to 1B while Rodgers delivered to the batter.

But I was flabbergasted at finding out that in 2002 Rodgers managed to steal more bases than stolen bases given up...despite pitching 210+ innings. Yep....he managed to steal one base (the only one of his career) while not giving up any steals. I imagine he also picked off a half dozen or so, as he usually did that as well.

Kenny really was a good pitcher if he hadn't pulled that crap with the camera guy he could have gone down as one of the all time Ranger Greats.

You're either great or you're not. Hitting a cameraman was bad but had NOTHING to do with him on the field.. How in the hell does the cameraman biz have anything to do with whether he was great or not? GEEEEZ

Very true Fajita. He is just to much of a simpleton to see the dish as a whole. He can only handle the meat.
