1-SP> Darvish ... Shake the Oriental politeness & decorum?
7/10
You got me....damn
Revsader
How could I forget the Position of Super DH/Utility... Lance Berkman? OMG, an anchor or dead weight?
The Hub in the Wheel. KEY to the Offense... Stand Up!
Ghost of J. Hart
Can you give us examples of what Darvish displayed of the "Oriental politeness & decorum" that he needs to "shake"?
jumangi
At last check, Ogando had about 2.5 pitches. We'd like him to refine that 3rd one, which will probably allow him to do pretty well.
Andy
@jumangi
Duh, it's self explanitory. If you don't know about what's being said, you're a ptching moron.
Not that Eric
Easily could be a House of Cards, Anyone get the axe if so? Daniels, Wash or both?
I don't think Daniels has given proper team support or replacements. I don't think Wash
can make this 2013 team a contender. Madagan? can he perform miracles? Big Q's here.

Andy
Ogando had been working on the change up 2 yrs ago (before he went back to the bullpen) and as I recall it was pretty good he just didn't trust it.
Joe C.
If this is the scenario, Elvis Andrus will be traded before summer, for a "boat load".
Profar will be our starting SS.
We will know how properly ranked / rated our Minor League system is..... the talent .... I believe is ready .
Bill
I think Murph will be a good everyday player when he gets the chance to play everyday. He can keep a rythm and keep his timing down. I also think he may benefit from a very good hitting coach. I project Murphy at about 15-20 HRs and 60-70 rbi. I have no basis for this. Just a prediction. Hard to project a guy that has been a part time player. As far as Murph being a part time player, a lot of analysts suggest on a lot of teams he would easily be a starter, but in Texas where talent is abundant he gets the 4 OF role.

@Ghost its way to late for me to read this article and give a good response I will say one thing though. I like your use of 'nails" on describing Yu Darvish. I say "nails" all the time in that context and usually get stares like people don't know what im talking about
fajita
Not that Eric.....Jumangi is not a fool. You were ask politely to respond and you make a personal attack on him. Go sit in the corner for a week and come back with some manners.
Jumangi, glad to see you posting. Long time dude.
mmurphf
mmmmmmmurphffftttttt
Sounds like Sylvester the Cat?
I wasn't asked anything. I merely commented about jumani's pitching naivity or
maybe he's been hiding in a cave not connected, since you've missed him so?
Not that Eric
Oriental ?!?!
I believe the proper nomenclature is Asian.
Duuuuuude
PROPER?!?
My wife and her family are Oriental, by *preference, if need be.
Everyone knows what's being said without your grammer nazi input.
Asia connotates China, which *Orientals don't want to be asscociated wiith,
especially Japanese.
Shush, go away, shoo grammer fly
PT
The "Cruz Card" may be the first to fall. Now an even weaker outfield?
NtE
@ PT...
STFU and settle down. It's a "Big Lebowski" reference. No grammar nazis here. That's right, grammar not "grammer". Go get worked up somewhere else.
Duuuuuude
He's being very undude.
Andy
Yeah, I figured U couldn't stand the spllelling. Added that one intentionally for yer "gnat-ness".
Soooo, what do you think we should do in our RCOF? Any baseball light bulb going off dooood?
PT

OK, so Daniels is putting full faith in a team that could go 90mph, either left or right.
I've never seen a team with so many questions, yet are expected to be worthy of a West Flag.
Actually, I'm nervously excited for 2013, yet wary of far too many questions of champ performances.
This could be a real wave the terrible type towel year or certainly a throw the towel in- hit the fire sale button.
BUT... the questions are there. I'mnot going to lose any sleep over what I see below. The reality is what it is.
And will be. AMEN
C> Pierzynski ... 2012 repeat w/ leadership or last legs?
1B> Moreland ... Healthy? Hit lefties? All & many questions for this position player
2B> Kinsler ... Hello, wakeup? Leadership? Healthy? Madagan as new mentor help?
3B> Beltre ... SOLID
SS> Andrus ... SOLID
LF> Murphy ... 2012 repeat? Real starter or truely 4th OF?
CF> Martin ... (as)Rookie ready for MLB 2014? Gentry> SOLID, but not a starter
RF> Cruz ... Hello, wakeup? Leadership? Healthy? Madagan as new mentor help?
1-SP> Darvish ... Shake the Oriental politeness & decorum? Becomes nails/ACE?
2-SP> Harrison ... Large study/library absorbed- he gets IT? Pitches through 7-8th inning as the norm?
3-SP> Holland ... Left or right brain in 2013? I see the physical talent, but where's the head?
4-SP> Ogando ... All the pitches to be a starter. Have the fortitude & stamina? Spot pitching growth?
5-SP> ??? ... Sorry, too much of a question, but not a big deal as everything mentioned above. Least of
Rangers worries, is the #5 slot. Much talent available, for even spot starts. Actually a PLUS.
I didn't mention bench(?) or players, as Olt or Profar(which have been turned upside down with all scenarios).
Really, I think the 2013 Rangers, as I view above could eaasily go 75 Wins or 95 Wins. Even 85W's sucks for me.
The AL West is going to be a race in 2013. Probaby the best division in the AL.(sans Astros)
