Why do some of you think that Elvis won't resign... because of Boras?
If the Rangers want Elvis to be "the face", they'll get it done. Look at what
they did with Young & Kinsler signings. If the trend is to youth, what better
mentor is available, other than Elvis. Eight years of Elvis sounds good to me.

He's just now starting to mature and coming iinto his prime. A ,300BA, 100 runs
and 40 steals sounds like an investment worth paying for. Find that in a SS
elsewhere.

I believe the Rangers are going to view season 2013 a big test for Elvis.
If he puts up the numbers, as I stated, he's an investment still worthy
of wearing a Ranger uniform. He'll command a salary the Rangers will
not only pay, but will also benefit for many years.

Let 2013 playout. I think we'll have our Profar/Elvis answer, New Years Day, 2014.
