Is it just me or is he constantly annoying not to mention self serving and biased. For example yesterday he said profar can't play 2b because he's a ss(as 2b is a lot harder than short as we all know..),

Whew, for a minute there, I thought this was going to be a post from someone suggesting the Rangers somehow talk this guy into playing again. Wouldn't be too off-based considering some of the other ideas I seen flown here every day.

I enjoy listening to Reynolds. He's knowledgeable, and far less abrasive than half the staff at ESPN. Try listening to Steven A. Smith, Herman Edwards or, for that matter, MLB's Mitch Williams for more than 5 minutes. You'll need a padded room with yellow walls.

Harold represents the conservative stream of the MLB [ie would not ever vote in a PED user to the HOF] . Mitch is distinctly opinionated. Both have vast inside information as x-major league players , and stays at best connected to the game. They are privy and know more inside information then any one on this forum will ever know irregardless of the diatribes hurled against them

I like Harold. And, I like Mitch... I like the MLB guys far better than I do the ESPN guys.

But, they're "entertainment". Their job isn't to analyze and say what they REALLY think... it's to provoke thought, invoke insight and revoke truths. Naw... they're just there to create arguments.

They ALL know JD will never sign Bourn. He won't give up the Draft Pick and CERTAINLY won't give up the $$$ associated with that slot. It would inhibit his ability to move money around to sign his draftees next June and July. But, they will still say, "The Rangers this..." and "The Rangers that..." because it draws viewers and causes people to yell at each other.

Trouble with those guys is that when they have said all they know they do not SHUT UP.
