Oliver is forcing a trade. If we can get him for nothing then its not a bad move. The splits last year don't show Oliver as a LOOGY, nor the year before. But yes Wash has a tendency to over use bullpen pieces, but in his defense in 2010we didn't exactly have a loaded pen. Go back and look at that pen. Feliz, O'Day, Oliver were the core of it. Ogando got added in later in the year. But that was also Chris Ray, Dusty Nips, and Frankie Frank.

If Oliver decides he wants to play in 2013, and for the $3m of his Toronto 2013 contract and for the Rangers. The trade will likely be Oliver for Faulkner or Lamb, even a notch higher Jimmy Reyes [ who should be ready for Frisco in 2013].
