Forum > Bleacher Report Player Rankings

Bleacher Report has three Rangers in the top 100 of MLB player rankings, Kinsler around #75, Cruz around the same, and Beltre in the mid teens. I think Kinsler may be a bit high, and Beltre is right around where he should be. Of note, three former Rangers are on this list: Napoli at #91, Young at #45, and Hamilton around #10. I'm surprised Young is on the list at all and even more surprised they couldn't find more spots for a team that's been to two of the past three WS. Thought Andrus and Yu (AJ Burnett is there, but somehow Yu is not) deserved a spot. BR also has the Texas rotation ranked #18. Are they really that low?

Young at #45 should have tipped you off that it's a total troll. BR's out of its mind.

I bet I could spit out 45 players just from the AL West that are better than Young. Come on now.

Is that now, or for their careers for still-active players? It wasn't clear to me. Either way, lots of players don't fit. Young might have had the 45th best career of active players, but he wouldn't sniff the top 100 based on last year, obviously.

Like gtownfan said, it's Bleacher Report. I still read it sometimes, but I'm not sure why. Some of their analysis is really bad. Like, worse than the DMN. But occasionally you run across something good, like this piece about Weaver's ejection in 2011, which I probably laughed at more than I should have.

"See what I did there" is no longer allowed to be used. It was retired as the most overused phrase of 2012.

<<< BTW, love that hot babe with the tan lines.

Guys, Bleacher Report is always right. It was right then, it's right right now, and may it forever live in our hearts.
