Is it time to ink J.P Howell NOW, or are there better fit relief arms to consider? Really?

He is on my list of possible lefties. It would free up Ross for a shot at 5th spot in the rotation.

i like this move. effective lefthanders are hard to find and if it loosens the roster up for other moves it is even more so.Ross is a better candidate than anything they could sign now.

@ rainag my thoughts precisely. I would even be interested in another go round with Gonzales. Adding 2 lefties would be fantastic then Ross would more than likely get his shot or be traded.

YES! Wrap Howell up as our LH Arm out of the Pen. J.P. is a shut down, against LHH, which will
play out big at home. I think Howell is our best choice over the several bullpen arms available.

Seeing that we were never in the hunt for Swisher(thank you), or not interested in LaRoche. No BIG
arm for Lead Staff, then lets set up our bullpen with strength. Seems the natural move at this point.
No big contracts to keep us tied down, in case Upton or Stanton etc, open up for trade.

TORP may be had @ ASB, if we're still in the Division Race.
