Eric, Garcia is ready and does not need AA or AAA, but I do see him getting, with good team health, hardly 100 abs, and would be better served at Round Rock playing SS everyday, and give Yangervis his chance to shine as a super-U, can and has played both inf and of. Eric here is a poser for you, would you have the guts, and it is radical, to trade both Andrus and Profar, play Garcia at short knowing you are obtaining both Stanton and Upton? Or does a quality SS outweigh any quality of by position alone, and if so it kind of answers the Kinsler move to first. That a quality player up the middle is the heart of any team, and until Andrus becomes a Boras free agent, not far away, play Profar in the outfield.

Im of the opinion we should focus on making what we have work. We will know what we need better at the deadline. Upton will likely still be on the Dbacks and their young guys may be forcing their hands even more. Yes we risk having our guys do poorly and lose value or be met with competition again, but I would simply rather see what we have, We have held on to Olt and Profar, so let's see what we have before giving them away.
