Knowledge into Wisdoom: Trials of New Era 2012
Overall. I think the Club totally getz it. With Daniels overhaul, we've been THE powerhouse
in the AL, from 2010 on. We've ruled the Decade, so far. What's not to understand... Get It?
I am perplexed about the FA and trade dealings that Daniels has gone through during this period.
I can't explain it rationaly, without being on the inside looking out. Even though we've missed inroads
the blows actually have been soft, to an extent.
I thought Daniels would have a backup plan, if Josh wouldn't sign. Why was he blind sided? Same
with Grienke and to a similar extent with Cliff Lee. All three deals, seemed done... but weren't closed?
I never thought TB would deal strength to a Texas Team, thatz knocked Rays out of the PO, last 2yrs.
We move forward. I hope with better focus from the FO. Itz not Dooms Day, nor are we a crippled team.
There's just too much talent left, that we can tweak and add, to bring that cream back to the top of ALW.
I think it's going to be a fun year. JD's learned, I am positive. I believe in the adage; Knowledge into Wisdom.
I also believe in Raw Talent ... I Get It, so does Jon Daniels and the Ranger Org.

Billy Beane shows why he is way above any other GM in this sport. All signings (drafting, FA, trade) are fundamentally about taking risks. Nobody knows the future. What is great about him is that he creates newer ways of structuring a winning team despite every other GM knowing what he is up to and Beane's own budgetary limitations. He created the illusion that OBP and College Players were the way to go, if Moneyball is to be believed. Now he says that High School draftees are a better bet, after earlier scorning their signing publicly in the past. Flexibility has been the key to his success. Obviously, he has ownership on his side. Heck, he is part of them. But the common thread in all his winning teams has been excellent or above average pitching. Obviously, playing in Oakland, this is necessary. Why don't the Rangers become more risk taking and play to their strengths? Their strengths are a hitter friendly ball park, specially for left handed power hitters and sinker ball pitchers. Have we learnt anything from our run in 2010? Nobody saw that coming, but I am ready for the Rangers to become innovative again. That will be the road to success.
