Since MY is gone, who do you think is the Rangers face of the franchise? It could be Ian Kinsler, the longest tenured Ranger, Adrian Beltre, the vet, or maybe even Elvis Andrus (barring he doesnt get traded). So I ask, who do you want as FACE of the Texas Rangers?

I don't think you can manufacture one. In time one will arise through his merits.

The G-rated version of Crash Davis will be supplied by the Baylor duo of Dave Murphy and Kelly Shoppach.
Smiles and celebrations committee will be led by Beltre, Profar and (Andrus?).

David Murphy. He has just enough skins on the wall, is eloquently vocal and plays everyday.

Kinsler doesn't strike me as a leader type. Beltre leads by example, but isn't vocal. Elvis Andrus, although I don't think he'll be traded, is still too young. Otherwise, he'd make a VERY good leader. Those are the only candidates.
