I doubt they'll do that. Holland isn't a number 1. We don't even know if he'll ever be a good no. 2 so I doubt KC would do it. But hey I would if I were JD.

Holland for Myers is not going to happen.

KC wants someone much better, and Derek costs too much for KC's very limited payroll.

Catching days are pretty much over. Bat is ready now, defense at catcher isn't. I'd say he's unlikely to be dealt, but KC has a way of doing dumb things.

Respectfully, I think it would something sweeter than Holland to obtain Myers.

The whole market is being heldup for Grienke, Hamilton or even Upton to sign.
At least anyone that could hold value or change the face of the teaming signing.

Boros is holding on for Bourn, for that very reason. Wait patiently, the money comes.

Phart, Myers is most decidely not a catcher, which is why the Royals moved him. And he has said he doesn't like catching anyway, so you most definitely would not want to move him back.

I have heard that the Royals have asked about Holland, and not sure why anybody would think they can't afford him. After all, they are paying Ervin Santana $11 million this year.

I highly doubt Myers is the player in question for Holland. If anything happens, I'd bet it's for Butler or Hosmer. Preferably Butler. We would be RH heavy, but we would hit the living hell out of everyone, especially lefties.

Holland would be a nice second piece for Myers. Its not happening. No way JD gives up all his jewels for an unproven commodity. While he could come in and bash 30 HR, that wont happen till a few years from now if it does at all. Window is now.
