Upton and Greinke. No brainer.

Upton and Shields, but I'm adding the 25 million or so annually that'd go with that option versus Josh and Greinke.

I look at it this way: who do I think is the better pitcher... Greinke (but not by much). If we sign Grienke than we wouldn't have money to sign Hamilton. So I don't even think Greinke and Hamilton is possible. It's either Greinke and Upton or Sheilds and Hamilton.

Therefore I think Plan A should be Greinke and Upton. With that said I don't think we will be able to land Greinke because the money and years will be too high. A combo of Hamilton and Sheilds is a pretty awesome Plan B though!

I choose Upton, Shields and Greinke. I know, it wasn't list as an option but I think it's in the realm of possibility and I prefer Greinke to Hamilton.

Without money being in consideration, it has to be Hamilton and Greinke. On talent alone.

Upton + Grienke. Second choice is Upton + Shields, and it's a close second. I'm as much in awe of Hamilton's talent as the next guy, but he cannot be depended upon. The comment that Upton would really benefit from RW feels right.

or an appropriate top notch Catcher.

Shields + an outfielder not named Upton or Hamilton.

You still have to pay Upton/Shields, and you're also giving up prospects instead of only money.
