@david: wow, if that's the price, then i'm out. dickey is too much of an uncertainty for that level of payment. i saw him as a bargain compared to shields in cost of talent, or grienke in dollars, but it looks like i may be wrong.

Mets GM has raised expectations on Dickey's market worth.
That being said, I'd rather use similar guidlines and go for Price.
Seattle's GM hasn't closed the door on King Felix apparently.
Felix, best arm in MLB, would be the crown jewel in any trade.
We're in a NEW Salary Escalation Era, thanks to TV contracts.
The shock value is inching up to $200m, approaching $300m soon.
