No comment on the hypothetical trade, but I don't have any interest in Arencibia. I don't think he would do very much in Arlington. Dude can't take walks.

I think JP would be very succesful in Arlington..the dude is still just 26 and has quite a bit of power that would transfer well to RBIA.

JJ will not Be traded by Toronto, after acquiring their ACE. Grienke is too costly. The Rangers need to step back to go forward. A top choice under that scenario is trade Elvis to Tampa for Moore and Archer. Then let that coveted ACE emerge from talent then already on the team. Their are viable possibilities. This will also allow Profar to evolve at mlb at SS. Hamilton appears gone, so start Martin in CF, with Gentry backing. If there is a flip, let it be olt or Cruz for a SS and who is left for Upton and possibly Bauer for L Jackson or Grimm. And if a trade with Toronto is forthcoming it will be Arencibia, and keep Soto. All this will actually reduce team salary, and set up the Rangers for the near future may be as early as the second half of 2013

Sorry but there's no way TB deals one of the best young lefty starters in the game plus their #1 pitching prospect for only 2 years of Andrus, especially when they have SS prospect Hak-Ju Lee ready to go. That'd be a horrible overpayment on their part.

I say trade Mitch Moreland for Mike Stanton. Trade Justin Grimm for Justin Upton. Trade Cody Buckel for David Price. Sign Zach Greinke. Trade David Murphy for Buster Posey. Maybe the Reds will give us Chapman for Matt Kata? Perhaps the Braves give us Kimbrel for Luke Jackson?

The Tampa Bay trade was not out of the blue, but was suggested by MLB, and if Lee is that closer the answer on who is fliped for Cruz is aswered with of course $$ to cover Cruz's contract. Lee would then end up in Arizona with the end result; Texas ends up with Moore, Archer, Bauer and Upton to take over RF. TB needs offense and Elvis is only improving and Cruz is a past All Star with clout and Tampa is loaded with pitching and is ready to trade a starter for proven power. Arizona will trade Upton and Bauern for different reasons has soured on both. Bottom line: not as far fetched as it seems. Likely scenario, Elvis plays ss, Profar second, kinsler moves to OF, Hamilton end up in CF because it is unlikely anyone offers him what he wants, mainly because the most likely team he would go to solved that when they signed Hunter, the Yankees do not need anothe + 30 year old on a long term contract nor does the Angels after they sign Grienke, and the RedSox need to rebuild.
