This isn't about broadening my horizons. This is about being germane. If I want to talk about politics, I'll go to a community where that's the topic of discussion. Based on your posts, I'd guess I probably agree with you on a number of political things, but I don't come here to discuss politics.

If you honestly believe that, your sir, are in fact an idiot. This post was thrown up by one of our local trolls for the sole objective of putting others on the forum down. If anyone has to be reminded to vote by a forum post on a BASEBALL website that they frequent they've got no business casting a ballot in the first place. If you're passionate about politics and supporting your candidate that's great. You did a fine job of copying and pasting to support your point. That doesn't mean this website and those who visit it should view your opinions in the same light or even appreciate what you're trying to do.

Actually, this site should be renamed SABR time in Texas. The opinions of the Baseball Liberals seem to be the only one that matters. The "Grand Old Party" or baseball purist get shouted down by the baseball left.

I have no problem with your opinion Carlos. I raised my question being of Mexican descent. I simply was pointing out the hypocrisy that surrounds a persons beliefs system in relation to their voting record. Another example would be African-Americans voting democrat when Lincoln was a Republican.
