Forum > F YOU WASH by cj
Since we are in reassessment mode, I wonder if we should look at ourselves.
Conjecture was that management reads this blog.
Wonder who else reads this public forum?
Lots of good baseball talk on here.
Unfortunately, there is lots of profanity and personal insults on here.
Anonymous identity may make this easier, but it shouldn't.
Should we clean up our verbal lineup and make our personal WAR a good solid positive number?
Should we consider that our wife/son/daughter/Dad/Mom/nephew/niece might be reading here because they love the Rangers?
Should they be exposed to the personal filth that flows though this blog?
If you are worse than any other DH, should you expect to be in the lineup or should you be benched?
If you are dipping your back shoulder resulting vulgar pop ups, should you expect to continue to lead off?
Should your continued pitches in the dirt with a low strike to ball ratio result in a quick call to the bullpen?
Our OBP is low because of undisciplined verbal swings at bad pitches.
Vibrant, robust and active conversation is a great part of this blog.
Let's keep THIS game clean between the lines and make ourselves better because of what we have read/wrote on this forum/blog.
I fully expect to be standing on first in a minute after HBP.
Joey, great sentiment expressed with today's eulogy.
2012 should have been better than this.

I don't regret it, but I'm a little less angry now. I was frustrated and I expressed that emotion.
If "this website" is just here to argue over the third derivative of Range Factor, the nuance b/w fWAR and bWAR, and other stats then I'm sorry to have disturbed the normal programming. I'm as interested in deeper understanding of BABIP and the influence a pitcher can have, the usefulness of a shift, the impact an aggressive run game can have on an offense to score runs, the wisdom of sac bunts by a SS that can hit well, etc.
Sorry to have offended you, but I'm not sorry I was angry. I hope our FO knows the fans are angry. I hope Josh knows we're angry. I know many may disagree, but that Josh quit on this season. Others lost focus and didn't give a their best effort. I invest a lot of time and energy into this team, not demanding a result, but at least expecting the players to care a little bit about the outcome.
At least I only used the first letter. I could have meant "Friend You Wash". Any inference is yours, I suppose.
At any rate, I don't know how anyone could have watched those last weeks and not been brutally frustrated. As a long time Rangers fan, I really thought we were in our championship window. The first time, it felt like we were underdogs hoping to get lucky (The red years). This time, it felt like we were the best team. It hurts to see that window pass and know we're about to take a step back. It hurts to watch my favorite player, a guy my sons love to watch play, a guy that was nothing if not all out, just QUIT.
Again, sorry to offend, but I hope we have a fan base that gets emotional and cares about this thing. If this site wants to be JUST about debating stats then I am indeed in the wrong place.

Great to have emotion. Great to be frustrated also.
We are all sick over this last month of the season.
Rangers have played with passion, pride and a fierce drive to win 2010, 2011.
Those 3things were missing this year.
Agree JOSH should go and we wish him well.
Agree PADMY should go and we wish him well.
Agree KINS should go and we wish him well.
Would love to see more of Profar, Olt, Gentry.
Above meant as encouragement. We can all improve.

Is this the kind of tripe we are now gonna see on this website?
