Forum > What are you doing for the game?

Soooo I think its time for new beginnings. I shaved my beard this morning for the postseason. I am ready to start this run into history with a WS title. Yes, I am optimistic and I have a gut feeling, much like Wash's, that we will make a serious historic run into the WS and win it.

What I want to know is, what are YU doing for this momentous occasion? The temple gonna get rowdy tonight. I wanna know as a fan base are you going to dress up? Are you going to paint yourself? Bring noisemakers? Cmon, lets do it big and make the most noise! I am ready. Are Yu?

Kinda sad that we have 5000+ tickets left on stubhub for this game and ATL is almost sold out. I know stubhub sometimes has too expensive tickets for people to purchase but I can only hope we have a packed house tonight.

My dad, brothers, and I are meeting up and going out to the game together. Thick or thin, we're there 'til the end.

I'm not into the noisemakers/paint/etc. My middle brother is likely to start a few "let's go, Rangers!" chants, but outside of that, we'll just enjoy the game.

If the Rangers win, we'll be happy. If the O's win, we'll be happy for our cousins in the northeast.

Sitting on my couch, anxiously strumming nonsensical melodies on my guitar to keep myself calm. Then I'll check Twitter, causing my calm demeanor to evaporate into a nervous wreck. Then I'll get back to strumming the guitar, this time adding in a glass of Johnny Walker Blue - neat, of course. Finally, I'll put down the guitar, put down the phone, put down the whiskey and celebrate or morn accordingly.

Then either baseball or life will go on. I pray it's baseball.

Stubhub is a resaler. What's sad about that? Those tickets have already been purchased.

As far as comparing stub available tix with the Braves, they are in a completely different siuation. Braves have been expected to be in this game for the last 2-3 months as opposed to last 48 hours. This also could be Chipper's last game ever. Tough to compare the 2 situations apples to apples.

I guess the sad part is so many people are wanting to resell the tickets they bought instead of going to the game. I understand some people can't go because something came up or whatever. I just don't want to see tons of empty seats, that's all. I'm sorry God.
