Joe, Josh gets lots of respect for playing through that pain. To question his toughness is silly. I didn't see the game chat last night, so I don't know what people said about him, but I do not think he is weak minded when it comes to pain. Maybe so with his addiction struggles sometimes, but I don't judge him for that.

First I want to say, I didn't comment about the sinus/vision thing one way or another. And I would emphasize that Josh played through all last year's playoffs with a serious injury. He did so without making it known all he was going through.
But it does seem like "it's always something" with him in the regular season. Fairly orr unfairly it seems</> like Josh is a temperamental sports car...
How often is there a 5 game stretch where he isn't visibly wincing over something!?

I totally agree - the other day at work, I stared at my computer monitor for too long and my eyes started hurting. I've been off work for a week recovering, so I definitely understand where he's coming from.
Also, you should try to put a little bit more intensity into your future posts...

Geez, what a .280-.290 BA 42 HR and 117 RBIs? I bet a lot of teams would like an Out Fielder to goof off that much

You mad, bro?

Blow this shit up

Joe, I get the impression that you care neither about Josh or what people say about him.

Is Joe the cousin of Josh Hamilton none of us know about? Not sure where any of this nonsense is coming from.
Josh is a trooper, and mostly everyone on this board acknowledges/values that fact. He is and probably for awhile will be the most talented ballplayer to ever dawn a Ranger uniform, and I will always have a special place reserved for him in my mind.
The OP sounds like that guy who's pinning himself against a wall arguing against himself. Or for any Family Guy fans: Reagan Smash.

eric,
I heard from JJT as well as Randy Galloway about how week minded Josh was for coming out of the game. That is two big time media sources and I've been reading very very little so I am sure that others were saying the same bs. Obviously the post was directed at the dumbasses giving Josh a hard time and comparing him to Adrian Beltre's resistance to coming out of the game when his shoulder was inflamed. I guarantee you that some dumbasses read this who were thinking just like JJT and Galloway and that is who I was directing this at. As far as the hyperbolic nature of the post, I rather enjoyed that but I guess I went a bit over board as I got edited a bit.
I do think Josh can be somewhat dramatic at times, but that is just his personality. He is more outgoing than a lot of the other guys are, and he is banged up often. I think most of the time people give him a hard time, but his personality is actually an asset to the team and to the fans.
Joe
JJT is a tool, and that article was horse shit. He doesn't know all the circumstances, and he has an overdeveloped flair for the dramatic that's often really annoying. I really don't put much stock in most of his writing.
Andy
You should be publicly flogged for citing JJT or Galloway here. This team doesn't wear stars on their hats so neither of those guys have any credibility here. I can't reply to anything else because I stopped reading after that.

I DONT KNOW WHY WERE YELLING!!!!!!!!!

All the idiots dogging Josh because he came out of the game yesterday....
There aren't words to describe how stupid you are.
Blurry vision is nothing to trifle with dumbasses.
Josh gets no respect for playing through pain last year when his freaking muscles were about to pop off the freaking bone. Most of you probably couldn't get out of bed with the pain he was having much less swing a baseball bat and perform at the level that he did.
And then there was the issue with the cracked fucking ribs. Again, most of the dumbasses dogging Josh would probably be taking disability at your stupid ass job for cracked ribs. But Josh played through that as well, and again, at a high level.
Next time, instead of being a dumbass, realize that the reason Josh came out of the game was probably pretty serious or at least potentially serious.
And don't forget to shut the ---- up while you are at it.
