Could be but Grimm has 1 good start and 1 bad, so it might be they don't want to trash his confidence if he were to crash and burn. Also history tells us that a new lefty comes up his first start is usually pretty good.

They won't trade Perez he's been their best pitching prospect since Feliz got called up they just wanna see what he's got. He's still just 21 might I say.

The thought just crossed my mind, does anyone think the rangers may be show casing Martin perez in hopes to raise his value at the deadline? It seems kind of strange that grimm has a successful big league start under his belt and he will instead be used as a long man instead of perez. Could it be they are trying to raise his value in hopes of IF a big trade is there to be made perez could headline the deal?
