Anyone seen this beauty yet?

Kinsler 2B
Young 1B
Hamilton CF
Beltre 3B
Cruz RF
Murphy LF
Torrealba C
Gonzalez SS
Darvish P

I see a potential 3 pitch first inning in the Kinsler-Young-Hamilton if no one tries to work a count. And the bottom 3 of Torrealba-Gonzalez-Pitcher might be the worst 7-8-9 we've had all year. We are also sacrificing defense this game at SS, 1B, LF, and CF.

Hopefully they bring it, but that does not look pretty on paper.

Lets hope Darvish brings his game today.

Darvish vs Padres @ Petco is as good a time as you can get to rest up some position players, go light on offense/defense, and hope your SP throws a gem.

So who's really resting? Just Andrus, who needs it apparantly, and Knapoli, with a captial K. Torrealba can make the same amount of contact.

Oh good lord Wash. Whats with the 2 games on, one game off routine with Napoli? Oh man, thats bad. Young in the 2 hole? Oh man.

Yes .We need to sit Elvis down. He's only hitting 346 or so for the last seven games.......
WTF??? someone gets hot so let's give them a day off. It is after all scorching in San Diego right now.

My biggest complaint was the order. Andrus and Napoli resting is fine, though he could split their days off.

Young in the two hole not working the count before Josh hits. I am a big believer of someone working counts hitting in front of Josh. Work the pitcher, get him tired, drive the pitch count up and then up comes Josh. Better chance of him tossing one in. Also, sacrificing three outs at the 7-8-9, I would like to see a stronger hitter in the 8 hole, even if it means a weaker #6. He had said he wanted Young to have a day off, but let Snyder sit last night and tonight.

wash obviously wants young to see some good pitches....maybe get him going.....dont think it will work, but not a bad thought

I'm calling a big game from Yorvit tonight.

Big game from Cruz tonight, he smoked a few balls in the game yesterday, looks like his timing's back.

Wow - so it's not enough to bitch about the lineups after the game is over - now we have to do it before the game even starts. Wow. Why don't we start a thread where we bitch about what Ron Washington will do next season?

Jeff, why do you come on this site? All you do is come on here and bitch about people bitching. What is wrong with people pointing out that lineup does not make sense.

FUCK YOU

trolololololol!

All things considered this lineup didn't do half bad. Young looked halfway decent in the 2 hole and the back of the order was decent working back to back walks for a run.

By "big game from Yorvit", I meant: fart, fall down, and make me look like an idiot.

Lineup proved me wrong tonight, glad to hear.

Young saw 24 pitches in 5 plate appearances, got a hit and SF. 8 and 9 hitters got a hit including a double from the 8 hole. I'll take it.
