Forum > BBTIA App

I'm ridiculously lazy, and entering a web address into my phones browser or adding it to my favorites just seems beyond cumbersome... so I think its time for a BBTIA app for my android... lets get it done Joey!!!!

I dont have an android so not sure if this will work but:

Just long press on your screen, click "shortcut", click bookmark, add any bookmark that comes up (if the bookmark is not there, add it to your browser first). Also most Browsers have an "add to homescreen" button. You can click on the ugly bookmark icon and "replace" with any icon or photo in your phone.

You could try the shortened URL for the mobile site: http://m.bbtia.com/

If you really want an app, you could use one of the various Android RSS readers. Many of them "frame" the headline results as well so you likely wouldn't have to do any horizontal scrolling. But of course, you'd still have to enter BBTIA's RSS link into the reader.

The mobile site doesn't include the clubhouse or the forum and doesn't display or allow comments to articles. A mobile site is nice, but really what you want on your phone is an adaptive website. The average person not familar with web development probably isn't interested in it, so you may not want to read about that...anyway, a lot of people may not know what that is, but they've seen it before on their smart phones and tablets. I've browsed the site on my phone quite often, and I believe it could benefit from such a modification. I think it's a better idea than an app.
