Just for kicks....there comes a time after defeat when one must choose: start spewing fantasy lineups or perish.

I would love that team so much.
1. Kinsler 2b2. Young DH3 .Hamilton LF4. Beltre 3b5. Fielder 1b6. Cruz RF (He's better than he showed in the WS)7. Napoli8. Sizemore and Martin CF9. Andrus SS
Hey, I can fantasize, right? Imagine you've got to pitch to Beltre as Prince is on deck...Oh, the tears well up in my eyes just thinking about the possibilities. And then the Boom Stick arrives after Fielder.....Oh, my god....I need a cigarette and I don't even smoke!
1. Kinsler 2B2. Young DH/spelling Kinsler, Beltre, and Fielder at 2B, 3B, and 1B when they need a break3. Hamilton LF4. Beltre 3B5. Fielder 1B6. Napoli C7. Cruz RF8. Andrus SS9. Gentry CF
Unless Martin gets called up, or we stick with Moreland at 1B. I fully expect us to forgo Fielder as it's already been stated that the Rangers are happy with Moreland at 1B. I think the Rangers two big ideal moves are to re-sign CJ and add Darvish. They would like to sign Murphy and Chavez, but I think their production could be easily matched with an easy FA like Sizemore so they won't worry too much about it.
People seem down on Gentry but he put up a near 2 WAR, 1.8. In 63 games. Meaning he could put up around a 4 WAR in a full season. If he hit more, which is entirely possible with his swing and in this ballpark, we could be talking about a 5 WAR players. According to Baseball-Reference anything over 5 is a all-star level.
How great would it be to have fielder?
1. Kinsler 2B2. Young DH3. Hamilton LF4. Beltre 3B5.Fielder 1B6. Cruz RF7. Napoli C8. Sizemore/or Gentry9. Andrus
We need more left handed pop and Fielder and Sizemore sure would provide that. I'm not sure the Fielder thing happens but Sizemore seems like a pretty decent flyer. Especially for 3-5 million.
Why does everyone like the idea of a player that does not move runners very well and is among the active leaders in grounding into double plays batting second?
You have a good point but who is better suited to take his spot. Elvis is the only person I can think of and even he isn't best suited. I'm not sure who wants to have Elvis, who doesn't walk and grounded into the same number of double plays as Young, batting second. Not to mention Young's OBP is significantly higher. Meaning he's on base for the big boppers much more frequently.
Not to mention Elvis is a prolific groundball hitter.
