I love to say it: the Rangers will undoubtedly build on this momentum, finish the season a surprising 116-46 (that's effin right b's) and go an unprecedented 1458-0 for the rest of the decade, and win 10 titles. Feliz will shatter Orel's record with 6600 straight scoreless innings and 220 consecutive saves (all of the 3 inning variety of course, b/c nobody will come w/in 3 runs of the Rangers, obviously) without blowing an opportunity. All of this, despite Kinsler never again getting on base, yet anchoring the lineup from the leadoff spot. IT'S INEVITABLE!

Too much whining/arguing here anymore, over the dumbest of things like grammar, opinions, on and on. Overall a lack of respect for one another. Just because someone does not think or feel exactly as you do, does not make that person wrong or an idiot. Some of the sarcasm is funny, and most people with common sense get it. But all the arguing... GEEZ. This is just sports, and we all are Rangers fans right? So what if someone does not write like Joey, afterall Joey has a unique style that is his own, not everyone can duplicate that. In the earlier days, I swear he taught me a new word everyday. People griped then, that he was too hard to read, I enjoyed it, and enjoy most articles now even with the tone downed version. You have no idea what you're talking about jd121. Nno where does Proverbs say all wisdom is folly. In fact, wisdom is the reverse or folly in Proverbs. If you're referring to the end of Ecclesiastes, you're completely missing the irony in this quote since it is written by a scribe whose job is to teach wisdom, in Wisdom literature. Misquoting your source is a great way to win an argument.

Well...

I was using hyperbolic examples to illustrate my point. My point is that there is a spectrum of degrees that can be used as trump cards to validate a person's claim to intelligence. At no point did I say any degree was "invalid", just that its less correlated with intelligence.

However, Bob Jones University is required by its accreditation council to have the official stance of affirming "the divine work of non-evolutionary creation including persons in God's image". I believe one could reasonably characterize a degree in biological science from that institution as "suspect".

I find it interesting that you neglect to answer the question, Skeletor. Alright, I'll go first. I'm in my final year of Government and Politics and Economics at the University of Maryland. Yourself?
