no, not going to happen. They might trade him although it would be difficult. He still has some time to prove himself if he's worth the option at the end of the season.
Anyways, without him, the Rangers would be down to only one left-handed reliever. If there was a really really good left-handed reliever in AAA right now, then they might dump him. But since they don't....

It would be great if they could get a lefty reliever in addition to Bell or Adams.
WWJDD?
Get Danks... Launch Rhodes.... Call up ODay... Send Holland to the pen..

How does the situation with Feldman work at this point? If the Rangers want to send him back to AAA, would he have to clear waivers? Or are their choices to leave him in the majors or flat-out cut him (and still be on hook for his salary)?

According to Joey, O'Day's stats since going down are 11.1 IP, 8 H, 2 ER, 1 HR, 1 BB, 16 K. Any thoughts on how and when the Rangers can get him back to Arlington? Right now, we basically have 5 relievers and 2 guys that no one has any confidence in (Rhodes and Feldman). Even though O'Day is similar to Yoshi, it seems that he could help out. Tonight, for example, Feliz will likely be unavailable after having pitched two nights in a row. And Yoshi and Oliver pitched last night. It would be nice to have O'Day available. Do the Rangers need to dump Rhodes or what?
