Jim Bowden says that ESPN.com's Jim Bowden tweets that the next big deal could be the Rangers acquiring Bell for a package centered around left-hander Robert Erlin. So we're going to get a rent a reliever for a top prospect. I'd much rather trade Erlin for Adams

the Rangers’ focus will not change. They are talking to the Padres about closer Heath Bell and setup man Mike Adams, sources say. They also are interested in Athletics closer Andrew Bailey and setup man Grant Balfour, though Bailey is a distinct longshot.
