Forum > Do you think the Blue Jays are stealing signs in every game?
It shouldn't matter, it's the catcher's job to continue changing signs during the duration of the game and communicating to the pitcher.

Do you believe in anything that the Yankees say?
The Blue Jays hit the most home runs last season with 257. They had 46 more home runs than the runner up team.
Yunel Escobar is one of the best offensive hitting SS in all of baseball. He was the reason why the Rangers were able to get Andrus cheap and currently has a .300 batting average.
Jose Molina is somehow having a good year.
Arencibia was hitting nonstop home runs earlier this year. Cooled down a bit.
Snider has been on a hitting streak lately.
They had Cito Gaston as a manager years prior to this one. He was one of the best at reading a pitcher's body language.
If the batters knew what was coming, then it was the pitchers fault for tipping off their pitches.

no one on that team aside from bautista and lind strike me as good offensive players but the blue jays are 4th in runs scored.
Those two, Yunel Escobar, Jose Molina, Eric Thames, and Edwin Encarnacion are all having above-average offensive seasons. And Bautista's offensive season is game-breaking.
Even if Toronto is trying to steal signs, they might only do it effectively in, say, 10 percent of their games. And even then, we don't know if that has a consequential effect on their offensive performance in that 10 percent.
There's really nothing to see here.
