Forum > James Shields

This is random, but does anyone remember during the offseason Evan Grant (or maybe Fraley, but I think it was Grant) kept mentioning James Shields as a potential sleeper trade target for a bounce back season? Pretty good call. Could have gotten him for much cheaper than Garza too, kept Ogando in bullpen with same (or better) result in his spot, etc. Again, random and probably pointless except for good call by EG.

Yep. I already sent Evan his congratulatory fruit basket.

Don't think he eats fruit. Prefers cheese. (Melted over chips and topped with ground beef).

What about pulled-pork nachos?

Thought that was his favorite toothpaste flavor?

Hmm, you may be right.

How about monster chicken nachos?

Unplucked, of course... he's an animal.

I don't know if Ogando in the bullpen would have been a good thing.

I've heard that EG really likes to get chorizo gravy ice cream sundaes more than anything. By the gallon, of course.

Man, I'm going to have to quit watching "Diners, Dumps & Dives".
Most of those places are awesome. Anyone ever eat B'rkfast at
"Ham & Eggs" in Lewisville? "Barbec's", Garland Rd, White Rk Lake?
Umm, ultimate!

Very true... I watch show and get either hungry, heartburn, or the squirts, depending on where he goes!

Barbec's good, but the best b'fast on Garland Rd is Good 2 Go Tacos at Garland and Peavy. Had the "Paris, Tx" taco this morning. Grilled hanger steak, fresh spinach, eggs, hollandaise sauce. The wife went with the pulled pork has taco. Huge tacos, too. 1 will do it.
