So apparently Gordon Beckham wrote "GETZ IS GAY - GB" in the dirt with his foot around 2B so that Getz, a former teammate, would see it when he came out to field his position in the game last night. I am not making this up.

Apparently they're friends and I thought it was funny, but it seems that some certain groups of people are unhappy with it. I guess if you could read it from the upper deck like they say, maybe he should have made it smaller and less noticeable but that is absolutely something I would do if I knew the other guy playing my position.
