Endy seems to be holding it down in CF. Defenseively atleast. But man he had one wait make that two hella bunts last night (one called foul damn offcials)

for that matter I'll take Gentry over Julio. Whatever edge Borbon supposedly has over Gentry in the batters box is more than made up by Gentry's play in the outfield. The man gets good jumps, runs with very nearly the same speed as Borbon, and has a pretty solid arm. Borbon gets terrible reads on flies and often has a late jump on it. Once the ball is in his hands he pretty much has a rag arm.

Endy/Gentry- nice LH/RH Combo I can live with and I'm Super Critical of most Center Fielders.

@gbkeith ... Gentry is faster than Borbon not the other way around. Everything else you said was right.
Windingmywatch
That's a fact!

@HubZ: Couldn't have said it better. Our CF is fine.

Windingmywatch-I really wasn't sure, but since Julio started the season as the Ranger's opening day centerfielder, and speed is the only attribute anybody gives him any credit for, the only way I could wrap my mind around Gentry in Roundrock was if he was not as fast. It was a coping mechanism basically.

For you Borbon fans, you can always drive to Round Rock if you want to see him. Personally, I've never seen much in Borbon's game to suggest he can't improve dramatically down in AAA. From his reads on balls, to his arm, to his baserunning, to his strike zone judgement, to .... He can improve without being in the majors.
