No chance Cone is in Arlington in 2013, if ever. Engel Beltre has a much better chance, and that chance is dwindling on a daily basis it seems.
Hamilton will either be in LF in two years or will be playing in a different uniform. No chance he re-signs after 2012 to DH.
I really have my doubts about Deglan ever making it, and I doubt he'll be ready by 2013. I don't know if anyone currently in our farm system will be catching for us in 2013. Jorge Alfaro has a chance to be the future backstop, but he will only be 19 on opening day 2013, so thats not going to happen.
With all that Ogando has done this season, I still doubt his staying power in the rotation for the future, and think that he should be the closer next season and beyond.
Holland will be lucky to be on a ML club by then. He better figure it out soon or he will be a AAA rotation piece/ML spot starter for his career.

A. What happens to Ian Kinsler?
B. Do we not resign Nelson Cruz?
C. What is your bench?

@ryan cone has been tearing it up in spokane he has a shot he is a 5 tool player i see some hamiltong in him just the way he plays. i was hesitant about deglan to but he was the only guy i could see being even close to ready for catcher by 2013 but i could see jorge catching in 2015 and that might be a stretch. and holland will figure it out by the playoffs he is to talented not to.

.@ ranger2011 i see cruz being let go due to age he is alredy 31 and kinsler is just to much of a pop out machine to keep and i dont see us tradeing profar he is to good my bench would be crush davis and craig gentry and leury garcia i just really like leurys speed and he is a fun player to watch i could see him being a big time utilty guy.

I don't see the fun in this - who knows what the hell will happen in 2012, much less 2013. When I was a boy and a good team would stay together for 7-10 years pretty much intact, you could make this kind of prediction by looking at what's in the minors. But in today's game, you are going to lose guys and pick up guys every year, and team continuity is pretty much shot.

I think a lot of the pitchers in Myrtle Beach will be scouted by teams we're looking to deal with for a reliever. That said, if he isn't traded, Johan Yan who's now the closer at Myrtle Beach would be a raw rookie by '13 but he has a big arm. I also think Fabio Castillo is in the pen as the 7th or 8th-inning guy. He has a huuuge arm, or he could also go in a trade for a setup guy this year.

Also, Neil Ramirez is in the rotation instead of Holland. I think Holland is traded this year in a package for a starter.

Eppley might be nice as that O'Day-type change-of-pace bullpen guy.

Boy, talk of Dreamland, with a bit of Fairy Dust.
Now, even it all out, by doing the same w/ all 29 teams

Ya'll see Beavan's first MLB start for Seattle last night? Solid. Very solid.

nobody said the rays were bad when they went to the world series with all those young prospect in the bigs are you kiding me these guys have alot of potential ill admit the rotation is a little bit of a dream but i wouldent be surprised to see a outfield and infield like that if we dont trade those guys away. We need to keep the team young so they are always hungry and want to be the best you see what happens when a team has sucess like the rangers had last year now there laying a egg this year because they are satisfied with last year. Im sick of watching kinsler going 1 foe 4 with a walk a homerun and 3 pop out on a good day im not giveing up put its frustrateing to watch a team just not care. im just hopeing something like thats happens and these guys pan out
