Forum > Houston was a city under CJ last night

I was there and enjoyed the heck out of CJ's triple. He got good wood on that ball and ran like a position player.

I am really hoping Texas can resign him.

All-encompassingly. I can't imagine they won't do everything in their power to keep him.

wow.... how you go through life thinking some words will never come out of your mouth..... but..

Spanky, I envy you. that was a hell of a game to be at. CJ has really stepped it up the last few games and doesnt appear to slow down. this means one of two things. He's auditioning for other teams, or he's giving the Rangers absolutely no reasons to balk at any offer his agent comes up with. i hope for the latter and i hope they accept. I agree that they did the right thing with lee. The situation sucks, but it its what it is. Howeverr if they can sign him anywhere in the 5 yr 60-70 mil range, i think thats more than fair.

Thanks, it was a blast. The game was a crisp, clean butt-kicking with just enough suspense to keep it exciting at the end (thanks to the shaky Ranger pen). We had seats just 16 rows behind home plate. The only thing that would have made it better would have been getting there in time to get the free Tshirts.

I ususally balk at giving a pitcher tons of money for a long contract. But CJ keeps himself in shape, so I don't mind with him. I am not convinced he is a lefty version of Roy Halladay, but I hope we can resign him as I think he has a LOT left in the tank.

Did you notice that he wasn't even breathing hard after his triple?
