Forum > Borbon optioned; Chavez/Gentry stay in the Bigs
E Chavez has only batted .300 once; over 5 years ago. he hasn't played center field for more than 10 games in a season since 2006 (39 games). He hasn't played centerfield exclusively since 2004. Since 2004 he has played more corner outfield than center. Maybe he sold his soul as in Damn Yankees, but odds say he will revert back to his ......274 life time average. Hope I'm wrong.

Endy Chavez is all good with me. A much smarter player than Borbon.

... but we now have two natural outfielders.
BOTH can play a good centerfield. Endy is
no mirage. He noticeably swings a good bat.
He's ONLY hit .300 once? As in the other 2%'rs.

Borbon option to AAA today! Endy gets the chance to shine as he has earned... Maybe we dont need a CF afterall
