I think you're on target, with the comparison. LM's got power. He's not matured physically.
He's ready to make the jump to Round Rock and should soon. This Kid's special- even more
so than Andus. Not only is LM going to be a defensive whiz, but an offensive wheel, we've
never seen in Rangerland. Prepare for our new lead off batter, that we need desperately, not
to mention a REAL CF'r. I've seen enough to think he could be here in July-August, but AAA tells.

It is quite obvious Julio Borbon's chances with the Rangers are narrowing. He will either be traded in a package soon or in the near future or become our new 4th outfielder with David Murphy being dealt. Leonys Martin seems legit; a true center fielder that the Rangers have not had in years (and yes Josh Hamilton belongs in LF or RF so I'm not counting him). I'm very excited about what this kid can do for us. And HubZ is right, Martin does have a shot to be roaming CF for us in Arlington by July-August. I'm trying not to get too hyped about Leonys, but after seeing him play, it has become impossible not to savor his potential.
