Mavs are gonna get THUNDERSTRUCK

May 12, 2011 at 2:27 PM | Unregistered CommenterPull T

all depends on westbrook. he's the key. he can be one of the best PGs, or one of the most sloppy bone headed, make you scream WTF are you thinking PGs in the league.... we'll definately see. not a good match up for kidd....

and memphis aint done yet either!

No Memphis isn't done and it will be interesting since OKC has never played Dallas with Serge and Perk in the starting lineup. I remember at the beginning of the season when I said in a Rangers chat that it would be good to see a Dallas/OKC rivalry I was laughed at by all you Mavs fan. I was told OKC is a joke, Mavs don't fear them, blah blah blah. Now the Mavs (unlikely) will sweep them, but this "joke team" will likely be in the WCF, and since rivalries are made in the playoffs, we may have one yet :)

I want to beat any and all people that have Gasol as a surname.

it sucks, cuz the NBA is more about match ups than anything else. And i see major mismatches for the maths by either team. For all the hype the lakers front court got, Memphis's is even better with Randolph and Gasol. And the Thunder's backcourt is better than the Mav's back court. Granted alot comes down to bench play and the Mavs have the deepest best bench in the league. I'm not too worried about perkins... he's pretty tough and big, but you can tell he's still having knee issues. Serge is a baller though. Either way, the mavs will not be sweeping the WCF. I prefer we play OKC just because Memphis has our number and they remind me alot of the 07 Warriors. And the Mavs have always typically done a good job of holding Durant to as few points as possible. And in the end i think westbrook is just too immature and sloppy to be trusted with the game on the line.

We'll see. either way, its going to be a very entertaining WCF and ECF.

but i can tell you right now, i'd rather lose to the thunder, and adopt them temporarily, than face an 06 rematch!

There are only two rounds in the NBA Draft. He was not a sixth round pick. He was the sixth overall.

@Aaron. good catch you know what i meant though. God rest his soul, however if it wasnt for Milwaukee's misguided judgment that he was gonna be the next good big man in the league, the mavs wouldnt be who they are today.
