and i would have either kept FF or trade him for a A- -B levelminor league prospect

Now this is just me.... but i'd signed Cliff Lee to that 7th year. I also would have done the Beltre signing as well. I also would have thrown my hat in on Carl Crawford. Sometimes you gotta walk the walk and talk the talk to ride with the big boys. I wouldve tried to sign dank or soriano. I wouldve retained Dustin Nippert. I would NOT have signed Arthur Rhodes. I'm not sure I wouldve done the napoli deal either. especially knowing how the bullpen struggled late last year without him.

I wouldve made a bigger deal about possibly signing pettite. Just to piss off the yankees further. I would not have signed bush or tomtko. Colon and Garcia were definately better options. I wouldve given Josh a full day off and not played him at DH against Detroit....
