One three dong game in AAA doesn't eliminate years of suck ass. I doubt he has any trade value
MonkeyEpoxy
He had like a 1.500 OPS before that game, after its like 1.800.

I will say him hitting at AAA is different than Davis just because TT has never hit well at any level in the minors. So my guess is it's a touch fluke but maybe he has made some adjustments at the plate and with the level he plays D if he can bat .250 with some power he would be a soild MLB catcher.

Teagarden is the exact same as CD. good at AAA cant make the adjustments in the bigs, will get lucky with a HR or two when he guesses right or faces a weak pitch.
I dont understand why nobody liked Max Ram? dude could hit, had a good accurate arm, and i remember him making quite a few plays holding it down at the plate. i guess he didnt study enough and just couldnt call a game well... they say the same of Naps, so maybe he'll still have a future somewhere. Cub just released him....

I like MaxRam too, but he hurt his wrist and was never the same hitter that he was before that injury. He just signed with the Astros and will probably get a chance there at some point this season with their injury troubles and such.
Ryan from Waco
Rameriz couldnt play. if you followed baseball you would know that.
Dave
he could play, and he played well, they questioned his ability to call a game, and his work ethic when it came to learning about opposing hitters.
but i dont follow baseball so i didnt know that either. wikipedia is wonderful!

What are we supposed to think about Taylor's surge at the plate at Round Rock?
Are we supposed to think he has made hitting adjustments that now could possibly lead to him being a plus catcher?
Are we supposed to think it is a fluke that wont last long?
Are we supposed to think that he could now put up acceptable major league offensive numbers considering his excellent defense?
Are we supposed to think he has caught a solar flare or an adjustment from the baseball gods themselves?
Would he start hitting .150 again if they called him up to catch more often not that we have room on the roster for that.
Has his trade value increased significantly?
The sample size is very small. I realize that. Is this just a passing fluke?
