Forum > Dear Wash, Tell Harrison...

that he will likely be replaced in the rotation if he doesn't have a much better outing next time around. He seems to run on competition so give him some.

@Joe ...

I bet this possibility never dawned on Harrison. And if Wash gave him this message ... there might be some actual teeth in the threat if there were an option other than Bush or Tomko.

Why not start another Rhadigan thread ... this one is a dead end.

Joe,

I think that he needs to be replaced when Tommy Hunter is ready. Harri has had his chances, and while sometimes flashing brilliance i think that it is safe to say that he hasn't shown the consistency that Hunter has. Say what you want about Hunter, but the man does give you quality starts and racks up the W's.

One interesting note here, if you had to win a game and you could only pick between Hunter and Harrison to win it for you, who do you go with? Personally, i say Harrison because he has a better repertoire of stuff that can dominate a lineup on any given night. But over, 20-25 starts in a single season Hunter gives you much more consistency than Harrison. Just my two cents.

Thanks,
Trey

I actually agree with Joe on this. Harrison was lights out when it was new and challenging. Now he seems to have settled down and things aren't going well. And really, why not? Say Wash actually throws this down, and Harrison performs - bada bing. If not, replace him in the rotation with Hunter.

Its all Michael Young's fault

Mainly because he is hitting an "empty" .342.
And only tied for the team lead in RBI.
And only 4th on the team in OPS.
And since Wash is constantly trying to please "the Face" by playing him in the field, Ian and Elvis are committing errors by the boat load
All because he selfishly signed a deal that threw 16 mil at him.
Selfish, Pre-Madonna Bastard.

Oh Yeah, Joe Sucks! Now everyone else bash him with me and not think for yourselves.
