It was only five innings because of rain but still. Hes showing that he has adjusted to AA and is on his way to Arlington as a reliver and maybe next year in the rotation.

Rushing him to Arlington is so Pre-Ryan. He will not be in Arlington this year. He might pitch in AAA this year, but even that's highly unlikely.

after what was done with neil ramirez you cant rule out a september call up for perez, but i hope he can keep this up and make it to round rock by july and then the rotation in 2012

Perez will see AAA this year, but not the bigs, unless he takes an unexpectedly large step forward. But this is still exciting. As is the Neil Ramirez news.
