Forum > Package for Greinke

According to Heyman we would have had to give up:
Hunter
Kirkman
Holland
Profar
Beltre

That asking price is stupid. No wonder we didn't pull the trigger.

That's one player too many. And that player's name is "Holland".

Heyman is absolutely the last person you should believe. Grain of salt, folks.

MIL overpaid for him. He isn't worth a bag of rocks.

The first thing come to my mind when I saw him is how skinny he is, his chest like almost curves inward.
He should definately should not play pick up basketball

Any of those three pitchers, could become legit #3 pitchers... possibly even better, with time.
Profar, at his age and upside, should be an "untouchable". Beltre is worth the wait also. His
maturity is finally blooming into his talent level. Though not MLB ready, AA to AAA could be 2011.
Daniels is not prone to make an emotional change. Better heads prevailed in the Greinke Deal.

I think every player should be 'untouchable'. Then we can all watch as the years go by and the minor leaguers mentioned can just fade into the sunset..

It's not about 'each' player. The Greinke Deal, as laid out, was a dip into muse, more than reality. If anyone has not seen Kid Profar, just think of Pudge and Elvis, at similar times in development. He's worth the wait.
