So the other most likely Ranger DH signing with another team has nothing to do with whether or not the Rangers current DH will be traded away? I guess I'm an idiot then?

Amigo,

I'm pretty sure they think Murphy would play LF against RHP and push Hamilton to DH. Against LHP Napoli would DH as he mashes LHP. I'm not for trading Young but in the even the is traded I think that would be a better setup than signing Vlad who has no flexibility.

Yeah, what Joey said. This would just allow TX to use Napoli as primary DH. Seems totally unrelated to Vlad.
