Young is going to get closer to 30 games at second because of Kinsler's health. Keep Treanor at start of the season, Yorvit, doesn't play a whole ton of games either. The Rangers have chosen to use catchers without a lot of stamina. Napoli will probably play 20-30 games at catcher, but he is not what Washington likes behind the plate. They're going to need Treanor. Moreland can go to the outfield in a pinch and it might be Borbon coming off the bench if he doesn't start well.

I really think Napoli is JD's creative way of adding some depth and providing an insurance plan for Moreland.
